Auburn Basketball and One Piece Odyssey are two of the hottest contenders in the upcoming Games Done Quick 2023 tournament. Both teams have shown incredible skill, determination, and talent so far. As they prepare to face off in the GDQ tournament, many are wondering who will come out on top. In this blog post, we'll explore the strengths and weaknesses of each team and make a prediction on who will win the tournament.

 The Dark Horses

One of the most exciting things about Games Done Quick (GDQ) events is the surprise that comes with watching new runners take on popular titles. While there are a few frontrunners for GDQ 2023, there are also some dark horses in the mix. In particular, Auburn Basketball and One Piece Odyssey are two games that could potentially shake up the GDQ 2023 competition.

Auburn Basketball is an exciting new platformer from indie developer Mike Uyama. The game has been praised for its tight platforming, its whimsical art style, and its fast-paced action. It's unclear how well Auburn Basketball will fare at GDQ 2023, but the buzz around the game suggests that it could be a major player.

Another title to watch out for at GDQ 2023 is One Piece Odyssey. This pixel speedrun game was released to much fanfare in 2021 and has already become popular among fans of the genre. Players can tackle levels filled with obstacles and power-ups, making it an exciting game to watch.

Finally, don't forget to keep an eye on MagFest 2023. While MagFest is typically a multi-day music festival, they have recently added a running competition to their lineup. This year's competition is sure to be intense as competitors battle for the top spot in pixel speedrunning. If you're looking for a wild card at GDQ 2023, keep an eye on MagFest 2023.
